is produced by fusing of calcined alumin in electric arc furnaces at a temperature of about 2,000 degree Celsius. It has a high refractoryness and is extremely hard and resistant. According to the final requirements, WFA can be produces in Higgins or tilt furnaces. There are WFA types of different purity with multiple grade sizes.

White fused alumina is one kind of electro-corundum,which produced by alumina in the electric arc furnace (titling furnace or fixed furnace) with temperature more than 2200℃, often, we call it white fused alumina, white aluminium oxide or white corundum.

White Fused Alumina Refractories (White fused aluminum oxide), was made from high-quality alumina by melting above 2000 in the electric arc furnace and cooling. It is white with the main crystal phase alpha-Al2O3. White corundum is a high-level refractory raw material with Al2O3 purity of up to 99%. It can work as refractory castable, aggregate, refractory coating, etc.

With smelting point up to 2250℃, white aluminum oxide is a high level refractory material. It has advantages including high purity, good acid-alkali resistance, temperature resistance, high thermal stability.
